Penfield Kennels and Cattery offer the most reasonable boarding rates in Adelaide, offering personalised care from expereienced and professional staff.
All pets are housed individually, unless owners request that pets from the same family share accomodation. Each dog is run a minimum of twice a day in our large hygenic exercise yards.
All diets are catered for and we do our upmost to ensure that your pet is fed as close as possible to their normal diet at home to make the stay more comfortable.
We are located 25 minutes North of Adelaide. The resident owners are Chris and Jim Tester who have over 30 years experience between them, they also breed, trial and show German Sheperd Dogs under the SAGENHAFT prefix.
Christine is a qualified veterinary nurse with extensive experience in veterinary emergency centres and animal shelters and regularly attends seminars to maintain and improve her knowledge.
Chris and Jim are active members of
- Pet Industry Association of Australia (PIAA),
- South Australian Canine Association (SACA),
- German Sheperd Dog Club of South Australia (GSDCSA),
- Victorian Canine Association (VCA) and the
- Veterinary Nurses Coucil of Australia (VNCA).
An on call vet is available 24 hours a day – but we prefer to make contact with your own vet clinic if your pet has a problem. In the case of emergencies our Vet will be notified for expediency.
